View from Oxbow Bend

My husband and I decided to take our last trip through Yellowstone and into Grand Teton National Parks for the season on October 27th, (as we live 2 hours from West Yellowstone).  It looked like the weather was going to be good but, it is Montana, and we ran into a little snowstorm.  There were two accidents along the way, cars going too fast and swirling off the road and just as we got into the Tetons, there was another accident where they closed the main road into town and we had to back track.  The good news is after it stopped snowing the landscape was absolutely perfect!  I took this photo in Grand Teton National Park at Oxbow Bend Overlook.  I felt the scene was well worth painting!
